1. Introduction
Welcome to CleanersGlow ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the CleanersGlow website (cleanersglow.com) and the services provided through our platform. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
CleanersGlow is a marketplace platform that connects individuals seeking house cleaning services ("Customers") with independent professionals offering such services ("Cleaners").
2. Services Overview
CleanersGlow provides a venue for Customers to discover, book, and pay for cleaning services provided by Cleaners. We are not a cleaning company. We do not employ the Cleaners, nor do we provide the cleaning services directly. All Cleaners operate as independent business owners or independent contractors.
3. User Accounts
To book a service or list your services as a Cleaner, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
You are responsible for safeguarding your password or magic link access and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Cleaner Responsibilities
If you use the platform as a Cleaner, you represent and warrant that you:
- Operate as an independent business or contractor.
- Have the necessary skills, training, and equipment to perform the services offered.
- Maintain any required licenses, permits, and insurance mandated by your local jurisdiction.
- Will accurately represent your availability, services, and pricing on the platform.
- Will provide services in a professional, safe, and lawful manner.
Cleaners are solely responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and expenses incurred while providing services.
5. Customer Responsibilities
As a Customer booking through CleanersGlow, you agree to:
- Provide a safe and lawful working environment for the Cleaner.
- Provide accurate instructions and access to the property at the scheduled time.
- Secure any valuables, fragile items, or pets prior to the Cleaner's arrival.
- Communicate clearly regarding any specific needs or areas requiring special attention.
6. Bookings and Payments
When a Customer books a time slot, they agree to pay the total amount presented at checkout. Payments are securely processed via Stripe. CleanersGlow holds the payment and disburses the funds to the Cleaner (minus any applicable platform fees) following the successful completion of the booking.
By providing a payment method, Customers authorize CleanersGlow and our third-party payment processor to charge the agreed-upon amount.
7. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is designed to protect both Customers and Cleaners:
- By Customers: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are fully refundable. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee to compensate the Cleaner for their reserved time.
- By Cleaners: Cleaners are expected to honor all accepted bookings. Frequent cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension or termination of the Cleaner's account.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the platform is described in our Privacy Policy. By using CleanersGlow, you agree to the processing of your data as outlined in that document.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CleanersGlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the platform.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the platform, including the quality, safety, or legality of the services provided by Cleaners.
- Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
CleanersGlow simply provides a marketplace. Any disputes regarding the cleaning services must be resolved directly between the Customer and the Cleaner, though we may offer mediation assistance at our discretion.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform prior to the effective date of the changes. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
